Course description

Fitness training in Camperdown for people with a disability in Sydney

Do you like to stay fit and have fun at the same time? Join in engaging sessions that will be both challenging and rewarding for all members, regardless of individual abilities and skill levels. Warm up, get skilled, work out and participate in a range of activities designed to improve concentration and coordination. This course is running from the Camperdown Tennis Centre in the newly refurbished Camperdown Commons.

Students will have access to park facilities including tennis, futsal, basketball and bocce courts, table tennis, outdoor exercise equipment and an upgraded oval. Our coach and personal trainer can provide coaching in a range of sports including tennis, basketball, soccer and cricket. This group is focused on maintaining and increasing fitness levels for all members involved suitable for all fitness levels, abilities and skill levels.

Course Objectives
  • Learn about healthy lifestyles;
  • Set some individual goals for healthy living;
  • Learn and practice safe stretching and safe exercises techniques;
  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship;
  • Engage in a range of different sport, fitness activities;
  • Be involved in a social, fun program.
Other information

On the day all participants must...

  • Wear comfortable loose clothing
  • No skirts/dresses
  • Bring a healthy snack and water bottle
