Learn to cook a plant-based seasonal meal with our vegan cooking workshops in Sydney!

So you’ve got vegans coming for dinner? Or maybe you’re incorporating more plant-based foods into your diet and you want to learn some vegan basics? Spend a tasty evening learning how to cook some vegan dishes that really pack a flavour punch.

This demonstration workshop will introduce you to some of the techniques and essential ingredients used in vegan cooking. You’ll come away with all you need to know to create a seasonal and delicious plant-based dinner.

Led by Vegan chef Ayse Moonen, you'll watch the magic happen, ask all your questions, get plenty of chances for tasting - plus recipes to take home.

Course venue

Rozelle Campus

2A Gordon Street, Rozelle NSW 2039 (corner of Gordon St & Victoria Rd in the grounds of St. Joseph's Church)

If driving, there is no entry into Gordon Street from Victoria Road. Last block on your right before Victoria Road. Pedestrian access is opposite Prince Street.

On the menu

Our dinner party menu will reflect current seasonal produce, and will include:

  • Dips or party-starter finger food
  • Fresh seasonal salad and dressing
  • A wholesome and filling hero dish
  • Something sweet to round the meal off

Dishes will be selected to suit the season, present a balanced and nutritious meal, and represent a range of techniques and tips for cooking 100% plant-based.

On the day

  • We've cut out disposable plastics, so please bring 2-3 food containers to take any leftovers home
  • All participants must wear closed-in shoes
  • Dress appropriately for the kitchen, and tie back long hair
