So you’ve got vegans coming for dinner? Or maybe you’ve chosen to incorporate more plant-based foods into your diet & you want to learn some vegan basics? Spend a tasty evening learning how to cook some vegan dishes that really pack a flavour punch.

This demonstration workshop will introduce you to some of the techniques and essential ingredients used in vegan cooking. You’ll come away with all you need to know to create a seasonal and delicious plant-based dinner.

On the menu

  • Chimichurri Dip with fresh spring herbs
  • Fennel Apple Salad with toasted seeds and lemon dressing
  • Marinated Whole Roasted Cauliflower with creamy leeks
  • Lemon Curd Tart

Course content

  • Introduction to some of the plant-based substitutes used in vegan cooking
  • Step-by-step discussion of the recipes for the workshop
  • Demonstration and tasting, with take home recipes

While we can’t linger longer due to COVID safety, you will get to watch the magic happen, ask all your questions, get plenty of chances for tasting – plus recipes to take home.

On the day...

  • We’ve cut out disposable plastics, so please bring a food container to take any leftovers home
  • All participants must wear closed-in shoes
  • Aprons supplied, but dress appropriately for the kitchen, and tie back long hair
