In this lively hands-on sausage-making class, we will cover everything you need to know to make your own sausages at home - and you'll take away the bangers you make to impress your friends and family.
Join Sydney’s Sausage Queen, Chrissy Flanagan at sausage headquarters in Dulwich Hill. The force behind The Sausage Factory and Sausage Queen Brewing, Chrissy is a self-taught sausage maker. She's already made every mistake in the book, so you don’t have to!
With Chrissy’s tried and true recipe formula you’ll develop your own sausage variety, and gain the confidence and skills to come up with new sausages at home.
We will then round out the session with a big lunch, washed down with Sydney craft beers throughout. It’s a ton of fun!

- A little history on sausage making, and insights into what makes an extra special sausage
- The tips and tricks to make your sausages juicy and gorgeous
- Learn how to make sausages from scratch
- Time to relax, try a variety of Chrissy’s sausages as part of a banquet lunch
- Take a seated tour of some of Sydney’s best beers
What's included
- Two-hour hands-on sausage class, working in groups of two or three
- Banquet lunch of sausages, salads, pickles and all the trimmings
- Bottomless Sydney craft beers, non-alcoholic beers, wines and softies

There’s parking at the rear, but don’t drive if you are drinking!
Buses stop nearby, and the Arlington and Dulwich Grove light rail stations are five-minute walks. The closest train station is Lewisham, which is a 15-minute walk.
Additional information
- All participants must be aged 18 or over
- All participants must wear closed-in shoes
- Aprons are supplied
- Dress appropriately for the kitchen and tie back long hair
- You’ll be taking the sausages you’ve made with you so if you’re not going straight home please bring an eski
- Come hungry and thirsty! Advise of any dietary requirements prior
Accessibility: The venue is at street level, with three internal steps
