Learn how to make a silicone mould and create either a bangle, ring, trinket bowl, small plate or candle holder.
This hands-on workshop will teach you how to design and make your own mould that can be used to make multiple of resin arts pieces.
Develop an understanding of the mould making process as well as the tools and materials that can be used. You will be taken through all the steps that are involved in mould making as well as be introduced to the many uses and possibilities of it.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to use your created mould and make a resin piece within the limitation of the fast curing resin.
Course outcomes
By the end of this course, you will have
- created one form of silicone mould to be used with resin
- an understanding about silicone and the mould making process
- worked with the tools and materials required at mould making as well as know what is important to get should you wish to continue your journey from home

- Design and mould making techniques for your individual project (please note, the dimensions of your personal project are limited to jewellery and small objects)

Materials provided
- Materials to produce one silicone mould for jewellery or small object (Please note, the course fee includes up to 300ml silicone and 200ml resin – enough to create your beautiful moulds and one resin piece)
