This new short Resin workshop is ideal for anyone curious about the medium resin and would like to learn more about it.

Our new Decorate with Resin: Introduction Workshop offers you the opportunity to work with resin while you learn how to add your personal touch to a small object.

Our professional tutor will guide you step by step on how to work with the slow-setting resin as well as provides you with background information on the medium and the correct safety procedures that are required when working with resin.

This workshop is packed with a variety of projects to choose from (subject to availability) such as:

  • kitchen canister
  • wooden salad servers
  • coasters
  • soap dispenser

And by the end of this fun workshop, you will not only have made a beautiful item decorated with resin by you but also have a great understanding of working with resin and its many great possibilities.

Please note, your resin decoration piece needs to cure for 48 hours. Please collect your piece two days after your workshop when it is safe to transport. Once collected, you will be able to polish off the rough edges at home with the guidance of our tutor’s instruction video which will be sent to you after the completion of your course.

Who is this decorate with resin course for?

We have designed this course for everyone curious about working with resin.

However, this resin course is not suitable for pregnant women or anyone under 16 years.

Course venue 

Rozelle Campus

2A Gordon Street, Rozelle NSW 2039 (corner of Gordon St & Victoria Rd in the grounds of St. Joseph's Church)

If driving, there is no entry into Gordon Street from Victoria Road. Last block on your right before Victoria Road. Pedestrian access is opposite Prince Street.

Materials provided

All the necessary materials are provided, including:

  • Slow setting resin
  • Pigments and objects
  • P2 Respirator mask
  • Handouts (digital)

What to bring to class

  • You may prefer to bring your vapour mask, available from hardware stores. If you feel concerned about the exposure to the resin vapour, please discuss it with your GP before attending the workshop.
  • Apron to protect your clothes

Additional information

  • Resin needs to dry for 48hrs, therefore please collect your artwork after two working days.
  • An instruction video on how to finish off your piece will be sent via email once the workshop is completed.
  • Please wear old closed in shoes
  • Long hair must be tied back
  • Not suitable for pregnant women
