Learn to create colourful mosaics with our glass art short courses in Sydney!

In this beginner's mosaic course, you will learn how to add colour and texture to a range of everyday objects using two different mosaic construction methods.

The indirect method is the traditional technique of drawing your design in reverse on paper, gluing the tiles face down with water-based glue on the paper and when the mosaic is complete using a tile adhesive to place the mosaic on your chosen object. You can choose your own design up to approximately 30cm × 30cm, with design details and size discussed with the tutor at the first class.

Then you will learn all about the direct method of gluing broken ceramic tiles directly onto the surface of a straight-sided terracotta pot.

In this mosaic course, you'll take home two colourful mosaics, one from each method. You'll also take home lifelong mosaic crafting skills to help you create beautiful artworks.
