Course description

Learn to speak Italian in Sydney with this Level 3 continuer’s class.

Whether you want to learn Italian language for business, travel or just for fun, you’ll take your skills to the next level with this informal, practical and interactive course in the Sydney CBD.

This Level 3 course will help you go beyond the basics to build your vocabulary and fluency for a more rewarding level of conversation. You will consolidate your understanding of the language and have opportunities to further practise and develop your skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Italian.

This course is suitable for:
Students who have completed approximately 40 hours of previous learning in Italian, for example ‘Italian Level 1’ and ‘Level 2’ at this College.

Learning objectives

By the end of this course you will have learned:

  • how to have more detailed conversations about places and things
  • to expand your vocabulary and understanding of conversational Italian
  • create more complex sentences, building on your understanding of basic grammar
  • speak more confidently with better pronunciation and extended vocabulary

The textbook costs approximately $55. You may also choose to purchase the audio CD pack for use at home, but this is optional. Your tutor will have the CDs for use in class.

Please note: this course will proceed only if the minimum enrolment number is met. It is therefore wise to purchase your textbook after your course has been confirmed (usually within three working days of the proposed start).
