Course description

Learn to speak Indonesian in Sydney with this Level 2 continuer’s class.

Whether you want to learn Indonesian language for business, travel or just for fun, you’ll take your skills to the next level with this informal, practical and interactive course in the Sydney CBD.

This Level 2 course will consolidate what you have learned and help you expand your vocabulary, grammar and understanding of the language. The course provides new situational topics to give you a wider vocabulary and plenty of speaking and listening practice.

This course is suitable for:
Students who have completed approximately 20 hours of previous learning in Indonesian, for example ‘Indonesian Level 1’.

Learning objectives

By the end of this Indonesian Level 2 Class you will have learned how to:

  • make requests
  • accept and decline invitations and invite people
  • ask and respond to questions
  • talk about different occupations
  • indicate interest and express uncertainty
  • request permission
  • ask for and offer help
  • ask for and give directions
  • ask for and provide addresses
  • make a report concerning loss or theft
  • write a simple email
  • speak more confidently with correct pronunciation and extended vocabulary.

Please note: sometimes a course start date is postponed until there are enough enrolments. It is therefore wise to purchase your textbook after your course has been confirmed (usually within three working days of the proposed start).

What to bring to class

Please bring your textbook, a notebook and pen to every class.
