Session Information
Courses are run one day a week for 12 weeks. There are no classes during public and school holidays. Class hours are 9:30-2:30.
Courses are run in locations in the Fairfield/Cabramatta and Lakemba/Bankstown areas of Sydney starting in February/March and June/July 2020
Course description
This course prepares you for a customer service career of your choice. Below is a description of the units and subjects you will study:
- Engage the Customer (SIRXCEG001)
- Contribute to Workplace Health and Safety (SIRXWHS002)
- Work Effectively in a Service Environment (SIRXIND001)
- Organise and Complete Daily Work Activities (BSBWOR202)
- Use strategies to respond to routine workplace problems (FSKLRG09)

Eligibility Criteria
You can only take this course if you can demonstrate barriers to accessing training and
• are 15 years or older and have left school
• live and work in NSW
• are an Australian or New Zealand citizen; permanent resident; humanitarian visa or bridging visa holder
• have or obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
