Learn chocolate tempering, moulds and more at this hands-on half-day workshop with our cooking courses in Sydney.

Enter the sweet and luxurious world of chocolate as you custom design your own chocolate bars and treats. You’ll learn about tempering and how to mould the perfect shiny chocolates and bars. You’ll learn where quality chocolate comes from and how it’s made. Then the fun really starts as you bling it up with colours and toppings to create your own unique chocolate bars – they make the perfect gifts!

Course content

  • Welcome champagne plus strawberries dipped in chocolate ganache
  • Learn to make your own chocolate bars with fair trade European couverture dark chocolate, including moulding, decoration with lustre colours, toppings ( 35+ vegan-friendly options), setting and demoulding
  • Learn to make a Chocolate Lava Cake with a gooey Dream Egg (our in house cream egg) dropped inside
  • Learn chocolate tempering and tips to achieving shiny chocolate
  • Question and answer session

Course fee includes

  • All materials and ingredients
  • Three custom made chocolate bars & lava centre chocolate cake (value of $55)
  • Refreshments (tea/coffee/champagne & chocolate dipped strawberries)

Please note: This course is suitable for vegans as all ingredients used are plant-based. No dairy products are used.

Please bring to class

  • Comfortable closed shoes (no heels or open-toed shoes)
  • Warm clothes, our kitchen runs at 18-22 ℃ (perfect chocolate making conditions)
  • Long hair must be tied back
