Learn how to plan and create your own compact green space with our gardening short courses in Sydney!

Living in urban Sydney is great for lifestyle, food, entertainment and action. It can mean your gardening dreams are limited to a balcony, patio or courtyard – but small is beautiful! And when you know how to design a garden to suit your space, you’ll be rewarded with a calming and cooling green space of your own.

Join this gardening course to learn how to plan and create your own balcony urban oasis by adapting to the space available and getting in touch with the plants that grow well in that context.

Balcony and courtyard gardens can be created to grow your own food, extend your living space, increase your own wellbeing, and improve the urban environment. Becoming a gardener, you can build a community and satisfy a need to connect with the natural world (biophilia). Whatever the reason, together we will go through the steps required to create your ideal garden within the space you have available.
