Do you love to perform? Our Acting classes for beginners will teach you the essential aspects of acting techniques and explore how to approach auditions, public speaking, and performance opportunities. Develop your voice and body. Introduction to Acting has been designed to help participants understand the fundamentals of the acting craft:

  • Performance
  • Improvisation
  • Character creation
  • Movement
  • Scene analysis

This Acting for Beginners Class will enable students to begin (in the case of beginners) to define a step by step approach to auditions and performance; and for intermediate actors to start to drill down into the key elements required to ‘lift their game’ to the next level.

  • said: Tk was great attention to detail teacher and well organised. Happy to new meet people and had fun

  • said: The course was a lot of fun but also gave students a safe space to explore their acting skills and test their limits, gradually building week by week. The teacher was always respectful and encouraging, and I can’t wait for the Level 2 course next year.

  • said: + Good time management: The course started at the scheduled time, ended at the scheduled time, and we had breaks every hour or so. + Good content: Content was appropriate for the level (i.e., beginners). At the end of the course, TK also offered recommendations for what books to read and what courses to try next. + Great tutor: TK was friendly and knowledgeable. He tailored the course content to everyone's interests, spending more time on sections when people wanted to know more. + Overall: I enjoyed the course, and got exactly what I wanted out of it - a bit of skills, a bit of practice, a bit of confidence.
