Cooking - Salami Making from Scratch

Learn to make your own Salami in Sydney.

Join this workshop to learn the art of salami making and create two varieties of authentic Italian Salami from scratch.

With 25 years of industry experience, and his southern Italian background, Andrew Morabito will share his knowledge and passion on how to make authentic Italian salami – as he discusses all things meat, shares how to get the perfect seasoning and the art of curing.

Please note: Your perfectly delicious cured salami will be aged in the maturing cabinets of the TAFE Granville College and will be ready to collect six weeks after the class at The Essential Ingredient Surry Hills.

Please note: Street parking is very limited nearby. You might try St Margaret’s Car Park at 417-435 Bourke Street, Surry Hills. It is a 5-minute walk from the venue, with casual parking rates after 5pm at approx. $4/hour.

On the day...

• We’ve cut out disposable plastics, so please bring your own food containers to take any leftovers home
• All participants must wear closed-in shoes – no high heels please!
• Aprons supplied, but dress appropriately for the kitchen, and tie back long hair
• Arrive up to 15 minutes before the class start time
